The Physically Challenged Sports Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization
dedicated to bringing disability awareness to the general public and aiding other disability organizations in raising funds for their causes. Disabled athletes perform at schools and public events to show that athletics is not just for the able-bodied. Most disabled persons do not realize there are many activities available to them. We hope public exposure will give athletic access to those who thought this was not possible. In addition, it teaches the general public that a disabled person is not helpless; he or she can be as functional as an able-bodied person at school, work and leisure activities. At the exhibitions presented at schools, we also stress safety measures such as wearing seat belts and careful swimming practices to prevent tragedies that result in someone becoming disabled.
